3. Operation Guide
3.1 Turn On & Adjust Water
Left knob (cold): Twist counter-clockwise to open cold water; wider twist = larger cold flow.
Right knob (hot): Twist counter-clockwise to open hot water; wider twist = larger hot flow.
Adjust both knobs proportionally to get your ideal warm water temperature and total flow strength.
3.2 Turn Off
Twist both knobs fully clockwise until tightly closed to cut off cold and hot water supply completely.
4. Core Product Features
4.1 Full brass construction: Solid brass body and spout, durable, rust-proof and pressure-resistant for long-term kitchen use.
4.2 Split independent cold/hot cartridges: Water circuits are fully separated; only replace the damaged cartridge instead of both when faulty.
4.3 Standard 2-hole deck-mounted design, fits most common two-hole sink countertops.
4.4 Gloss chrome plated surface, smooth and easy to wipe off limescale and kitchen stains.
4.5 Matched high-pressure anti-burst braided hoses, adapts to different household water pressure levels.
5. Product Applications
5.1 Household kitchen daily cleaning: Wash fruits, vegetables, tableware, cookware and sink surfaces
5.2 Bathroom utility sinks, laundry room wash basins
5.3 Simple renovation apartments, budget family kitchens, rental housing
5.4 Small light commercial sites: Staff pantry, tiny café prep zones
6. Installation Notes
6.1 Pre-install: Shut down cold/hot main water valves, drain residual water inside pipelines.
6.2 Connect braided hoses to the tap’s cold/hot inlet ports; tighten nuts moderately, over-tightening cracks threads and causes leakage.
6.3 Place rubber sealing gasket between tap base and sink surface, fasten bottom fixing nuts firmly to eliminate tap wobble.
6.4 Post-install test: Slowly open water supply, inspect base, hose joints and spout outlet for dripping or seepage; test knob opening/closing function.
7. Daily Usage Instructions
7.1 Gradually adjust hot water knob, avoid sudden full hot water output to prevent scalding risk.
7.2 Do not twist knobs with violent force to protect internal ceramic cartridges from cracking.
8. Troubleshooting & Analysis
Fault Phenomenon |
Root Cause |
Solution |
Weak water flow |
Supply valve not fully open, hose twisted, aerator clogged |
Open valves fully, straighten hoses, rinse aerator filter |
Dripping after closing knobs |
Worn single ceramic cartridge |
Replace the faulty independent cartridge separately |
Water leaks at tap base |
Aged rubber base gasket, loose fixing nuts |
Install new intact gasket, retighten base nuts evenly |
Water leaks at hose connections |
Loose threaded nuts, damaged hose washers |
Retighten nuts, swap defective sealing washers |
Abnormal temperature fluctuation |
Unbalanced household cold/hot water pressure |
Adjust home water supply pressure balance |
9. Maintenance & Care
9.1 Daily cleaning: Wipe chrome surface only with soft microfiber cloth and mild neutral detergent. Never use steel wool, bleach or acidic descaling cleaners (they scratch plating and corrode brass).
9.2 Long-term unused: Close main water valves, open knobs to drain all residual water inside tap and hoses, avoid freeze cracking or stagnant water odour.
10. FAQ
Q1: Are both the body and curved spout made of brass?
A1: Yes, the entire main body and curved spout are constructed from solid brass.
Q2: Can cold and hot cartridges be replaced individually?
A2: Yes, two fully separated cartridges; you only need to change the broken one.
Q3: Does the spout swivel left and right?
A3: No, this is fixed deck-mounted type with non-rotatable spout.
Q4: What accessories are equipped for water connection?
A4: The tap comes with matched high-pressure burst-resistant braided inlet hoses.
Q5: Do I need a professional plumber to install it?
A5: Simple DIY installation works with basic tools; complex pipeline issues can consult a plumber.
